In recent weeks, there has been an alarming uptick in anti-immigrant, anti-Asian, and anti-Jewish speech online and in lots of communities across the state and nation, and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners cannot condemn these attacks strongly enough.
 

The Franklin County commissioners today joined with local leaders from around the nation in calling on Congress to include monetary support for local governments in future COVID-19 legislative relief packages. 

On Thursday, National County Health Day, the Franklin County Commissioners detailed the ways that they continue to lead in our community’s response to the COVID-19 public health crisis, including by funding a 1,000-bed overflow surge hospital facility at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The Franklin County Commissioners today voted to approve two new initiatives aimed at delivering assistance to small businesses and their employees who are suffering under the current public health restrictions.  Both efforts are to be delivered by the commissioners’ Economic Development and Planning Department using existing partners
