Commissioners' Statement on the Events in Charlottesville, Virginia

Like almost all of our neighbors, we are proud to live in such a smart, open, diverse, and welcoming community. And, like almost all of our neighbors, we are shocked and saddened by the messages of hate and the acts of violence in Charlottesville this weekend. We will continue to be on the lookout for expressions of hate and threats of violence in our community, and we will continue to welcome and embrace all of our neighbors, no matter their religion, skin color, nation of origin, sexual orientation, or language.
