The Franklin County Department of Sanitary Engineering has discovered a water main break in the Village of Lockbourne at 1200 Vause Road. The break is on an 8" water main that feeds the Village of Lockbourne's water distribution system.
Beginning at 9am, Friday, November 18th, all water will be turned off to residents residing within the Village. Sanitary Engineering officials estimate it will take 7-8 hours to repair the break.
Once water has been restored, residents will need to boil their water prior to consuming or using it for bathing or cooking. Another advisory will be issued tomorrow morning with the boil alert details.
Residents are encouraged to visit the Village of Lockbourne’s public bulletin board located on the Village's administrative building at 85 Commerce Street for more information.
