The Columbus Urban League (CUL) is a community‐based, non‐profit, advocacy organization. Founded in 1918, the CUL is an affiliate of the National Urban League.

The Racial Equity Institute
This alliance of trainers, organizers, and institutional leaders are devoted to creating racially equitable organizations and systems. The Racial Equity Insitute helps individuals and organizations develop tools to challenge patterns of power and grow equity.
Supporting those in need YWCA Columbus is committed to creating a community of safety, support and stability through emergency shelter and long-term supportive housing. They help residents who have suffered setbacks to preserve their sense of self-worth without fear of deprivation, and ensure women and their families have access to basic needs like housing, education and employment.
National Center for Urban Solutions
NCUS has served the urban community for over 20 years moving individuals impacted by urban poverty to socioeconomic self-sufficiency by focusing on workplace development, education, health and wellness.
Equity Now Coalition
This coalition of elected and nonprofit African-American officials are leading a charge to call for the community to do more to combat racism and bring positive change in living conditions for African-American residents in the region. Objectives include reforming the Columbus Division of Police by creating a partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police and encouraging state politicians to follow the lead of Columbus and Franklin County to declare racism a public health crisis.
Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity
Through research, engagement and communication, the Kirwan Institute strives to create a just and inclusive society by educating the public, building the capacity of allied social justice organizations, and investing in efforts that support equity and inclusion where all people and communities have the opportunity to succeed.
